I am here to help you strip down the layers of how we feel we are supposed to be in front of a camera & document what makes you, you! I keep things pretty stripped down in practice so I can capture you at your your most authentic self. I lean towards a practice of curious observation and gentle direction to ensure I stay true to documenting moments as they were instead of curating a performance.
My Approach
one.
Send me a little love note through my inquiry form and let me know what you are looking to create! I will respond within 3 business days with any additional questions and to make sure we are a good fit.
two.
If everything is feeling good, I will send you a booking link. You complete a 50% deposit, sign a contract, and complete a package specific questionnaire. Things become officially, official!
three.
Put your creative pants on. Here is the part where we start dreaming up our session. You might send me a mood board or some inspiration. I might send you some creative ideas. We decide on a location. Sooner than later, the day arrives.
four.
You might welcome me into your home, I might show up at your colorful wedding venue, we might meet for a drink or coffee before our shoot to get to know each other. We meet, we connect, we get ready to make photo magic, we get ready to say YES to leaning into all of the moments.
five.
We have arrived. My process gives you space to feel seen in all of the ways you deserve to feel seen. This is all about the here and now. I will guide you through our time together so that we can make photographs that feel loving & true.
six.
I usually send a little sneak peek within 1 week. For elopements & weddings, you should receive your gallery within 8-10 weeks. For other sessions, you should receive your gallery between 4-6 weeks.
